During a distinguished military career spanning 32 years, he has undertaken several professional development programs to enhance his knowledge and skills. He completed the Sub Lieutenant Technical Course at the Naval and Maritime Academy in Trincomalee. Furthermore, he successfully completed the staff course at the Army Command & Staff College, Batalanda, from 1999 to 2000, and the Unit Command & Staff Course in Bangladesh in 2001.
Demonstrating his competence, he also completed the Senior Defense Management Course in India in 2004. Additionally, he attended the Allied Officer War Course in Pakistan from 2004 to 2005. Throughout his naval career, he has received training in various countries, including the United States, Australia, Japan, South Korea, India, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Mongolia.
Subsequently he joined the Civil Defense Force as a Additional Director General from Dec 2019 to Jan 2023.

Former Judge Advocate General of the Sri Lanka Army, Major General Edward Jayasinghe has an illustrious and unblemished military service of more than 31 years.
During his tour of duty in the Sri Lanka Army, he has rendered his services as the Director Legal and Judge Advocate General of the Sri Lanka Army, and as the Legal Advisor to the Ministry of Defense, Sri Lanka
follows the brief profile of Major General Edward Jayasinghe:
He was enlisted to the Sri Lanka Army on 01st October 1993 and received commission in the rank of Captain.
Being commissioned, he held the appointments of Staff Officer Grade III (Legal) Headquarters 3 Division, Staff Officer Grade II (Legal), Staff Officer Grade I (Disciplinary Wing) and Colonel (Legal) at the Directorate of Legal Services Army Headquarters – Colombo.
In addition, he served as the Legal Officer of the Sri Lanka Army Peace Keeping Operations contingent of the United Nations deployed in Haiti, officiating Director Legal, and as the overlooking Judge Advocate General of the Sri Lanka Army.

He is a retired senior naval Officer, having over 20 years of extensive experience in the Sri Lanka Navy. After retiring from the Navy he has been serving as the Defense Coordinating Officer at the ministry of Low and Order, Director Logistics at Department of civil security (Under ministry of Defense), head of Administration & facilities at Lanka hospitals, Working Director / CEO at oasis Hospital, Head of Safety Security & Health at the shell solar company , Head of Disaster management at Sri Lanka Red cross Society, Deputy general Manager – Fishing Vessel Operations & Head of Sea Marshal Training at Avant Garde Maritime Services.
Whilst in the Navy, he received his training with British Navy in Plymouth, UK in 1986 & from Indian Navy in Mumbai, Indian in 1996. Further he achieved professional qualifications both in Sri Lanka and Overseas. The qualifications attained in Sri Lanka include VVIP Protection Course, Basic intelligence Course, and Leadership & Management Courses. He has participated in Disaster management Course, He has participated in Disaster Management training in Puket, Thailand in 2010, Whilst serving for the Sri Lanka Red Cross.

Lt. Col Chandana Wijerathne Consultant
Lt. Col Chandana Wijerathne, with over 22years in the military service is a graduate officer in SLAAC.He served as squadron commander in the north, as a security sector commander in 8th regiment in Sri Lanka Armoured corps, commanding officer in 7th regiment of the Armoured corps and commandant in armoured corps training center Anuradhapura. He also served at Brandix intimate apparel and LB finance PLC. Being a qualified HR and administration professional his vast knowledge and experience both in the military and cooperate sector blends well to serve sentryco security (Pvt) ltd to its future growth and stability.
